Élaine Arsenault lives in Montreal. She has spent a great deal of her youth in the West Island. Her career really started with the Passepoil albums, for which she received national recognition and international literary awards. She writes in French and in English. Since 2000, she has published more than fifteen novels. Each year, she participates in literary events, conferences and book fairs, and she visits many schools. Moineau is the first novel she publishes with Phoenix.
