Francine Ouellette studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal. She then began teaching visual arts at the Polyvalente de Mont-Laurier. In the nineteen seventies, she gave up her career as a teacher and moved to Shefferville, where she dedicates herself to her two passions: flying and writing. She is the author of many best sellers, including Au nom du père et du fils and Les ailes du destin. She is now writing children’s books, creating endearing characters.
