the twins, Laurie and William, are leaving with their mother for a Mexican vacation. William's dream is to swim with the dolphins, and his sister's is to save all animals on the planet from extinction. During a sailboat excursion, they rescue a young dolphin whot is dying from having eaten a plastic bag. Carlos, their mother's friend, and a surgeon, succeeds in saving the animal's life.

de ma place, grâce à ma soeur qui est collée contre ma mère, je peux voir les maisons qui sont devenues miniatures.

— Regarde, Laurie, les maisons sont toutes petites !

J’aimerais bien qu’elle profite de son hublot.

— Je ne veux pas regarder, j’ai trop peur de tomber, réplique-t-elle en s’agrippant encore plus au bras de maman. Un peu frustré, je lui demande :

— Alors, pourquoi as-tu choisi de t’asseoir près du hublot si tu ne veux pas regarder dehors ?

— Parce que je pensais que j’allais aimer ça. Au retour, si tu veux t’asseoir à ma place, je vais te la donner.

— Pourquoi ne me la donnes-tu pas tout de suite ?
