Éditions du Phoenix is a young and dynamic publishing house located in the west island of Montréal, Québec. Éditions du Phoenix takes pride in providing authors with a means of expressing themselves and fulfilling their dreams. The house also plays an important role in cultural life, assisting as a partner with events in collaboration with libraries, book stores and schools.
Éditions du Phœnix publishes well known Canadian authors, but also encourages talented unpublished writers as well. Phoenix’s current collections include internationally recognized writers who have collaborated with local illustrators to produce exciting and visually pleasing stories.
Phoenix also promotes literacy through its free teacher, librarian and children learning guides. Our goal is to assist children in developing their opinions and evaluate their ideas and writing skills. Our unique guides help children gain a better understanding of the books, improve their French grammar and spelling, and inspire a taste for discovery and learning. Each guide includes a wide range of activities and questions and can be downloaded free of charge from our website. Phoenix also has guides for two of its English books.
Our books are available in Canada, France, Belgium and Switzerland.
