Shawinigan et Shipshaw 7 : L'Abominable chat des neiges

Shawinigan and Shipshaw are planning a party with their neighborhood friends. In the hubbub of preparation, both cats get into the warehouse, a place they should not go. Trapped, our two heroes will be shipped to the Great North. Will follow a series of events and bloodcurdling developments. Shawinigan and Shipshaw will find themselves facing none other than the hideous, the terrifying, the Abominable Snow cat!

— Ça tombe bien ! J’adore le pain ! dis-je. Et celui-ci est vraiment succulent !
Comme c’est agréable d’avoir à nouveau le ventre plein ! Mais après ces mésaventures, j’ai maintenant besoin de faire un petit somme. Notre hôte semble l’avoir remarqué.
— Vous dormirez ici, dans le poulailler, précise Chat-Squatch. Je viendrai vous chercher demain matin, avant que le soleil ne se lève.
Shawinigan et moi ne nous faisons pas prier. Avant même que Nanuk et l’Abominable chat des neiges ne referment la porte du cabanon, nos lourdes paupières sont closes.
Je m’enfonce dans le sommeil au rythme des ronflements de Shawinigan, bien calée au creux de notre couchette improvisée à même la paille. Dehors, le vent gémit ; il produit une longue plainte au-dessus de la toundra endormie. L’interminable nuit polaire referme
son long rideau sombre sur le village.Quand tout à coup…
— Cocorico !
— Hein ? Qu’est-ce que c’est ? s’écrie Shawinigan.
